The luxury perfume brand in limelight: Montale

Published: Dec 10, 2020 • Last Updated: Dec 10, 2020

It all started when the French Perfumer Pierre Montale first went to explore the Arabia. He was fascinated by the smell of a particular kind of wood, especially used in spiritual rites and practices in the Middle East, widely known as oud. Oud is a common theme among Montale fragrances, it has exceptional combinational qualities, and goes really well with notes of rose, vanilla, amber, musk and patchouli.

Rose is also a key ingredient in Montale's high-quality scents. Passionate about Roses, Pierre Montale brings in his compositions Roses from France, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, adding a sensual touch to the fragrance.

Let's look at a few extremely popular fragrances from the house of Montale,

Soleil Di Capri

Soleil de Capri is a floral fruity fragrance for men and women. It opens with a harmony of exotic citrus fruits from Italy, grapefruit is blended with kumquat, which leads to a heart of white flowers, on a smooth base of Mediterranean spices and musk.

This niche scent is extremely popular during the months of spring and summer.

Roses Elixir

Roses Elixir is a delicious and a very pleasant feminine composition.

The magnetic rose is the center of the composition of strawberries, citruses and jasmine.

Black Aoud

Black Aoud is a dramatic fragrance - but don't confuse that with overly strong. It's medium bodied and very rich, a bubbling potion of velvety rose and the old leather feel of labdanum, mixed with mystical oud tree oils.

It's a rare journey somewhere where you've probably never been and will beg to return to... all it takes is a little whiff of this amazing, rare elixir.

Amber & Spices

As the name suggests, Amber & Spices is a spicy- woody fragrance. The name doesn't have oud in it, but oud is present from start to finish.

The main spices that linger on are nutmeg, sandalwood and cumin, and amber gives this scent a velvety smooth dry-down.

Aoud Queen Roses

Now this is one seductive and opulent fragrance with deep layers. This is the whole package in our opinion, Velvety Grasse and Arabian roses, Hibiscus, and a lot of Oud.

The roses are so heavy they are almost candied, but the overall effect is not nearly as sweet because of the musky, somewhat nutty hibiscus and pungent oud. Ideal for fall and winter, and 2-3 sprays are more than enough, don't tell us we didn't warn you about the potency of this scent.

Chocolate Greedy

A chocolate scent with undertones of slightly toasted coffee, flavored with orange, dry fruits and vanilla.

It is casual, it is comforting, and it is delicious.
