New fragrances to try in winter 2022

Published: Jul 26, 2022 • Last Updated: Jul 27, 2022

Fragrances are an integral part of our lives and we often use them to express our moods and emotions. Each season has its own scents, for instance, summers are all about fresh and citrusy fragrances. In winters, people tend to use warm and spicy scents that make them feel cozy and comfortable.

Our team of fragrance experts has curated a list of perfumes to make your winter beautiful, warm and comforting. Some are spicy and some are musky and bold. We hope by the time you finish reading this, you find a perfume that matches your style and personality.

Hermes Eau Des Merveilles: Feminine fragrances don’t have to be just florals, and Eau Des Merveilles proves the point by being a strikingly gorgeous amber woody fragrance with a fresh opening thanks to not overly sweet orange.

How would it make me feel? Elegant and sophisticated
Predominant notes: orange, amber, cedar, pepper, violet, vetiver

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/hermes-eau-des-merveilles-edt

Prada Candy Night: This perfume had us at chocolate and vanilla. The opening is a sweet dark chocolate note which is perfectly balanced by neroli and bitter orange throughout the composition. You also get creamy smooth vanilla and tonka. It is clearly the favorite of the Prada Candy line among the ScentGod community.

How would it make me feel? Sexy and mysterious
Predominant notes: cacao, vanilla, iris, tonic bean, bitter orange

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/prada-candy-night

Armani Si Passione: If you need a pick-me-up scent, Si Passione is just perfect for you. A flanker of the massively loved Si, Si Passione is a sweet floral fruity scent that is extremely versatile. So whether it is a date or a casual stroll at the mall, you could never go wrong with this. It has a fresh spicy opening leading to a floral heart and finally drying down with warm cedar wood and smooth vanilla.

How would it make me feel? Uplifted and confident
Predominant notes: pear, blackcurrant, pink pepper, rose, jasmine, cedar, vanilla

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/giorgio-armani-si-passione-

Tom Ford Black Orchid: Perfumes don’t usually come with a disclaimer but this one does. You either hate it or want to wear it all day, every day. Dark, rich and complex, Black Orchid is not for people who like safe and generic scents. Black Orchid EDP is as unique as it gets. It's a bold extroverted fragrance that is rich, spicy and sensual. The initial impression gives an opulent and rich chocolaty vibe intertwined with florals, black orchid being the highlight of this composition. Other notes that stand out are black truffle and plum.

How would it make me feel? Classy and sensual
Predominant notes: chocolate, truffle, orchid, patchouli, vanilla, incense, spices, gardenia, amber

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/tom-ford-black-orchid

Juliette Has a Gun Citizen Queen: Citizen Queen is not your average perfume, but a scent that is composed to be worn by a woman who doesn’t care for other people’s opinions and does what she wants. The rose note in the composition is not mild and has a lot of character and oomph. Overall, it is a powdery floral woody perfume with a musky dry down.

How would it make me feel? Glamourous and invincible
Predominant notes: iris, rose, powdery notes, leather, aldehydes, musk, resins

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/juliette-has-a-gun-citizen-queen

Mugler Angel EDT: The EDP version of Angel was polarising for some people, so Mugler introduced an EDT version with toned-down patchouli and fruity notes at the top. The praline in the middle notes would make you smell like cotton candy with a hint of apple and raspberry. So if that is your thing, you should definitely give this floral fruity gourmand scent a try.

How would it make me feel? Carefree and Gorgeous
Predominant notes: peony, praline, apple, berries, patchouli, woods

You can try it here: https://www.scentgod.com.au/scent/mugler-angel-edt
