😍 By Janine French on Apr 10, 2024 I got so many compliments wearing this scent for the first time today. It was a bit spicy and smoky at first but the vanilla notes really grew. It lasted for most of the day. You don't have to use a lot. Really beautiful scent.

On initial spray I get the saffron and oud, and then gradually the vanilla comes up to the surface. Such an unusual surprising scent with fascinating depth. Lasts for at least 6-8 hours on skin and even longer on clothing. Scent-sational!

The oud and overall woody/spicy notes overpowered the sweeter vanilla and powder notes to the point they are barely detectable. Whilst this perfume is ok, a better example of this style of perfume would, IMO, be Montale Arabians Tonka which has a far better balance and wearability.

Just 1 to 2 sprays is enough as it so potent. At first I wasn't sure about this fragrance but it has grown on me...not sure if it's a keeper. I find this more of a winter scent.
